Tour participants will be provided with a complimentary glass of wine on the bus.

Participants are also encouraged to bring coolers with additional beverages or snacks to enjoy on the bus (the first stop is approximately 90 miles from Rothsay).

Heartland Wine Tour - First Stop

The first stop on the Heartland Wine Tour is at the Red Trail Vineyard. This is a working vineyard where you can walk out through the grapevines and witness how the winemaking process begins.

The tasting room is a 100 year old granary/bunkhouse that has been renovated.

Here you can taste wines made from grapes grown on the Red Trail Vineyard and make wine purchases.

Heartland Wine Tour - Second Stop

The second stop on the Heartland Wine Tour is the Maple River Winery in historic downtown Casselton, ND.

Here you will get to tour the winemaking process and see how wine is made from many local ingredients such as fruits and plants that are grown in North Dakota.

After the tour, you'll participate in an extensive tasting of up to 20 different wines, and have the opportunity to purchase any of the Maple River Wines.

Heartland Wine Tour - Third Stop

At approximately 5:00 pm, all tour guests will go next door from the Maple River Winery to the Red Baron Lounge and Pizza Pub.

The Red Baron Lounge and Pizza Pub has delicious homemade pizzas for order, and a great selection of wines, beer, and liquor to purchase.

Heartland Wine Tour - Fourth Stop

At approximately 7:00 pm, the tour stops at Vintner's Cellar in downtown Fargo, ND.

Vintner's Cellar is a wine bar where you will taste five different wines.

In the back you can browse wines to purchase and also learn how you can create your own wine.

After the tasting at Vintner's Cellar, the bus returns to the Rothsay Powerhouse.
